Excellent Leaders Secondary School Emerges Best at Tech Spark 2026

The first-prize winning team of Excellent Leaders Secondary School, Lagos (middle) and the first and second runners-up at the Tech Spark 2026 in Lagos recently.

Excellent Leaders Secondary School, Iju-Ishaga, Lagos has clinched the first prize in the just-concluded secondary school technology competition tagged Tech Spark 2026, held on Friday, October 2 at the MUSON Centre, Lagos.

The school emerged the best after a series of intense knockout stages in the Bug Bounty Challenge, beating Dansol High School, Lagos and Mountain Top Secondary School, Lagos owned by the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries.

In his remarks, the elated Proprietor of the top-class school, Dr. Davidson Faleye said: “Excellent Leaders is truly blessed with tech-savvy, brilliant and exceptionally talented students, with so many more waiting for opportunities to shine and demonstrate what they can do. Representing us in this competition are Felix Saviour (who led the team), Abiodun Oreoluwa, Ogunseitan Oluwaseun, Rabiu Desire, Eko Olamide, Oyakeye Jessica and Oriyomi Aminat.”

Faleye expressed special appreciation to Mr. Ajewole Michael, the ICT teacher of the school for his dedication, guidance and coordination of the victorious school team.

“We will not relent in identifying, developing, celebrating and projecting the incredible talents of Excellent Leaders students to the world at every given opportunity. This victory is yet another reminder that when our students are given the platform, they can rise, compete and excel! Congratulations, Excellent Leaders!” the Proprietor emphasised.
